Balancing the Chaos and Order of College

Facilitated by Spencer Thorn, this virtual session offering will help students understand the importance of balancing spontaneity with structure to create a harmonious and fulfilling college experience.  Common sources of college chaos include, meeting new people, living away from parents, new lifestyles, uncertain future, parties, new professors, etc. Common sources of Order in College include: regularly scheduled classes, Assignment due dates, parental expectations, academic obligations, Career decisions, sleep, sports/club teams, campus rules etc. These common factors will be brainstormed, how to balance them will be explored, and basic time-management skills will be discussed. Q&A will be offered at the end of the session.
