Application for Curriculum Honors

Do you enjoy an intellectual challenge?

If so, you are the sort of student who would enjoy participating in Curriculum Honors!

The goals of the Honors Program are to provide motivated students with challenging classes and a supportive learning environment. In Honors Program courses, you learn research skills and are encouraged to conduct a major research or creative project before you graduate. This provides a hands-on educational experience, and it is a great way to apply what you learn in class to real-life scenarios in a career or graduate program

In addition to an experiential education, the Honors Program has other benefits:

    • Students who complete the requirements of the Honors Program graduate with curriculum honors
    • Freshman honors students live in the same dormitory as other honors and leadership students
    • Honors students can apply for a one-on-one honors fellowship project with a faculty member
    • Priority registration – students in the honors program register first for classes
    • Honors students are eligible to participate in off-campus activities (trips to plays, musicals, lectures and movies) organized by the Honors Program – at virtually no cost to you
